All eSYS Development software products, commonly referred to as TechTools, are supported by eSYS online support and direct call application support resources. These facilities provide a backup for any difficulties experienced by users of eSYS Development applications.

 

Priority

 

A strategic planning software product, distributed to eSYS clients under sub-licence from CSIRO Australia.  The application utilises the research priority setting framework developed by CSIRO Australia.

 

The package incorporates a graphical user interface to structure the evaluation framework and results are graphically illustrated utilising charting modules and tables.

 

Global

 

A cost-benefit evaluation tool that is utilised by agricultural researchers and administrators to demonstrate the potential and realised economic benefits from farm-based research.

 

Stockloss

 

A software product that estimates the annual control and production loss costs of diseases in poultry, sheep and pigs.

 

A livestock disease impact model is currently being developed for the International Livestock Research Institute for ticks and tick-borne diseases on cattle (TickCost).

An environmental economics package that is soon to be released. The package has been developed with non economists in mind and utilises menus, dialog boxes and a graphical user interface to systemically tackle ecological economics problems.

 

Medec

 

A medical economic evaluation package designed to help medical technologists cost the incidence of major diseases and to demonstrate economic benefits from pharmaceutical product development.

Excel 2002

All products utilise Microsoft Excel. Packages are loaded in a similar fashion to any other Windows based application and follow the standard protocols for this product.

 

Graphical User
Interfaces

A Graphical User Interface guides users through the evaluation package. Each component of the evaluation process is illustrated on the interface and the user can systemically step through the evaluation process.
