Evaluation of Asian Development Bank Vietnam Rural Health Project

eSYS Development has completed the end-of-project evaluation of the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) $68 million Rural Health Project in Vietnam, implemented from 2004 to 2012.
The project aimed to improve access to quality primary and preventive health care for poor and disadvantaged populations—particularly ethnic minorities, women, and children—in 13 rural provinces, including Phu Tho, Quang Binh, Khanh Hoa, and Can Tho.
It upgraded commune health centers and enhanced the skills of local health workers.
eSYS assessed implementation performance, outcomes, and sustainability, providing insights to guide future investments in equitable and effective rural health service delivery across Vietnam
