Ross McLeod Engaged by the International Livestock Research Institute to Assess the Economic Impact of the Proposed Agri-Food Systems Research Program

eSYS Development has been engaged by the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) to assess the economic impact of the proposed Agri-Food Systems Research Program for Livestock.
This initiative aims to evaluate the potential benefits of research investments in livestock and crop systems, focusing on outcomes such as improved nutrition, increased productivity, and enhanced livelihoods for smallholder farmers.
eSYS is developing analytical frameworks to quantify expected returns on investment, considering factors like health improvements, poverty reduction, and environmental sustainability.
The assessment will inform strategic planning and resource allocation, supporting evidence-based decision-making for sustainable agri-food system development.
