Evaluation of the Preventive Health System Support Project (PHSSP) in Viet Nam

eSYS Development has been contracted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to undertake the Project Completion Report (PCR) for the Preventive Health System Support Project (PHSSP) in Viet Nam.

 

The PCR aims to evaluate the implementation experiences of the Borrower, Executing Agency, and ADB, extracting lessons to enhance the performance of ongoing and future ADB-financed health projects.

 

eSYS's responsibilities include a comprehensive reassessment of the project's economic and financial analyses, comparing initial cost estimates with actual expenditures.

 

The PHSSP had an approved total cost of $47.5 million, which increased to $50.1 million upon completion. ADB's financing comprised a $27.9 million loan and a $10.14 million grant from the Asian Development Fund.

 

The project's focus was on strengthening Viet Nam's preventive health system through improved surveillance, upgraded facilities, and enhanced human resource
