Design of the Greater Mekong Subregion Communicable Disease Control Project

Ross McLeod is leading the design of the Greater Mekong Subregion Communicable Disease Control Project, a newly awarded $35 million initiative funded by the Asian Development Bank in partnership with the World Health Organization.
The project covers Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, and Yunnan Province in China, aiming to strengthen regional capacity for surveillance, outbreak response, and cross-border health collaboration.
McLeod is responsible for developing the strategic, institutional, and financial design of the program, ensuring a coordinated approach to communicable disease control.
The project will enhance preparedness and response systems to reduce the burden of infectious diseases across the subregion
