Ross McLeod has joined the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) to contribute to a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) commissioned by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).

 

This study evaluates the efficacy, safety, cost-effectiveness, and budgetary impact of percutaneous vertebroplasty and balloon kyphoplasty in patients with symptomatic osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures unresponsive to non-surgical treatment.
