eSYS Development has been engaged to undertake a project performance evaluation of the Decentralized Health Services Project in Indonesia, approved by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in December 2000 with a $65 million loan and $1 million in technical assistance.
The project was implemented between 2001 and 2009, expanding from its original coverage of 50 districts and 12 cities to 73 districts across eight provinces: North Sumatra, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, East Java, East Kalimantan, and South Sulawesi.
The evaluation focuses on assessing the project's performance, particularly its impact and sustainability in improving health and family planning services in these regions
